I am a STORY-TELLER!

My room is my fairyland and my mind is my happy place. It is literally where I whip up all the magic that sparkles my eye.

What is Story-telling?
To me, it is a beautiful series of scenarios stringed together with a whole lot of expressions, gestures, characterization, ecstasy and adrenaline rush! It is indeed where life is a stage and I am the main character of my story.

But you know what the best part is it these stories could be imaginary or real-life based. And real-life based include narrating exactly what happened, but that is boring and mundane. So I spice it up with some exaggeration and drama. And once I start, there is no looking back.
Over the years, this became a habit because of the fact that I used to narrate these mini adventures to my mom at the end of everyday. That eventually ended up being our thing that we both really enjoyed and till date is my favourite thing in this big bright world!!
But in today’s world, neither do people have the time, emotion or believe in the old fashioned story-telling. Hence how much ever it saddens me to say, the harsh truth is we’ve come down to talking to screens than humans. Screens that indeed show no emotion at all. No reciprocation or reaction to your story, your life or your journey.

I still try to keep this beautiful habit alive whenever and with whomever I can. But remembering to allowing your counterpart to be heard as well is a very important task. I often tend to forget that. And that is something I am definitely working on.
If you may ask how and with whom, I keep it alive?
My soooo full of love family members & a handful of beautiful souls left on this earth who I happen to call my friends.
And if none of them have the time or the capacity to listen, I always have you!! I just sit in my room writing to you, letting myself be heard in my very own Happy Place :)
