As promised, my next emotion is my utmost favourite and am sure it is yours too! It sure is an overrated one!! But it is all worth it, Trust me!
LOVE: a feeling of strong affection and emotional attachment towards something or someone.
It is selfless, complicated, beautiful, hurtful at times but most importantly a reason to live for. A little birdie once told me there are 7 different kinds of Love. So here goes:
1. Eros: Romantic Love | 2. Philia: Friendly Love | 3. Agape: Unconditional Love | 4. Ludus: Playful Love | 5. Pragma: Enduring Love | 6. Philautia: Self-Love | 7. Storge: Familial Love.
Keeping the web definitions aside, lets make it more Fun!
Eros like the one Naina had for Bunny. Philia like the one Rancho had for Farhan & Raju. Agape like the one PK has for Jaggu. Ludus like the one Bunty had for Babli. Pragma like the one Raj had for Simran. Philautia like the way Geet loved herself. Storge like the way the Raichand family had for each other.
I have honestly been surrounded by and filled with abundance of love all my life. I am a mushy little huggable bear when it comes to this four-letter word. But it can go either ways, where it gets me all teary or it can get me all ecstatic. Both ways, I need to be putting a speed-breaker in order to let it not get to me. I’m a hard-core romantic, like c’maaan!! I’ve grown up watching Bollywood movies my whole life.
Family, Friends and all the other people you meet in life-having those one on one connections simply sparks a little joy in me. But I believe it doesn’t always happen both ways and I guess am starting to learn that it is okay. It is very hard but yeah getting there.
Almost like, I’ve done a PhD in LOVE. Based on my experience, I’d say Self-Love is one of the best kinds. As the more you have inside you, the less hurt you get when you spread it around and don’t get it back. It can be a very unkind world sometimes but we all have to get through it no matter what!
So just like Geet says: ‘Main Apni Favourite Hoon’.
