The weather in Dubai, I must say is awesome at the moment. Wet roads, dampness in the air & the breeze gushing through my face. As I grow older, I realize I am a nature-baby. If you think of it, most of us are. We just need to step out from within those four walls and take in those deep breaths.

Well, I do feel light sitting at a road-side cafe sipping on my hot chocolate and writing this to you. But there’s this sense of doubt in that thought as we live in such an instagrammable world that makes me want to keep clicking away. Sometimes to capture a moment but mostly maybe to show it off on social media. In today’s world doing all the cool things is not as cool if you don’t put it out there. Agree or Beg to Differ?

Living in the moment is soooooo important, trust me. I’m always fighting for that balance in my mind. It is a battle between my brain & my heart. My brain always wanting me to experiment with that fantastic camera of mine & my heart wanting me to soak it all in like it is love at first sight. So I decide to go with my brain as what if I don’t revisit this moment, this place , this feeling again? What if it fades off my memory, I’ll still have a photograph to re-live it, right! But my heart whispers and says, LIVE IT! CAPTURE IT! But don’t run behind showing it off to the world.

Some people care. Some people love. Some people look forward to it. Some people judge. Some people are jealous. Some people are least bothered. Some people compete. Some people forget.

So is it all really worth it?

Do it for yourself. Do it for the art of creating. Do it for the love of capturing the moment. Do it for creating the memory. But don’t do it for other people & def not at the cost of not being present in the moment.
I love the REEL life because honestly Im just addicted and I love Drama!!
But I’d rather live the REAL life and cherish every bit of it. Preach this to your loved ones & spread it to the world. It is never enough as today it is Technology Vs Humans & I’d choose Humans anyday!!

Start by making it a balance of 70% living it vs 30% capturing it.
Thats a decent balance no?
